How did you pick the locations of your China-based offices?

Promotional products are manufactured throughout China, but manufacturing is concentrated in a few key regions. The two predominant centers are Southern China, anchored by Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and Eastern China, centered between Shanghai and Ningbo. Southern China, and particularly the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Province, is the most important manufacturing center. From this area, historically the export engine of China's economy, come a variety of products: electronics, apparel, footwear, bags, toys, and a huge variety of plastic, metal, and other items. Hong Kong is the traditional gateway to this region, providing financial, technical, and human resources to fuel this export engine. In the last 10+ years - since Deng Xiaoping, China's architect of economic reform, made his "Southern tour" - the city of Shenzhen has grown rapidly. Located across the border from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, is closer to the action and much less costly than Hong Kong itself. In fact, the city holds a special status for manufacturing, trade, and investment. Shenzhen - with its deep water port, its downtown looking a like a modern metropolis, and a beltway of factories along its Pearl River Delta - is the perfect place for sourcing in China. Providing access to a great pool of human resources, proximity to manufacturing, and a low cost structure, it is the ideal location for Get It Global's central overseas office. The second most important region is Eastern China. Located at the mouth of the Yangtze River, Shanghai is the center of this hub, just as Hong Kong is the center of the Southern hub. Stretching along the coast to the south of Shanghai, the cities of Hangzhou and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province are huge export centers. Hangzhou is very strong on bag's and clothing, while Ningbo is well known for its small electrical devices. From this region also come a wide variety of plastics, writing implements, and other small items commonly used for promotional products and manufactured at very competitive prices. Both Shanghai and Ningbo also sport high-traffic, deep-water ports for convenient transportation. When ordering from China don't you need 120 days?

No. Domestic factories have used this as their rule of thumb because they are too busy with their core business to focus much time or attention on overseas orders. Domestic suppliers that act out of their business models by trying to make extra money sourcing in China are not specialized to work intimately with the factories. Overseas manufacturing is the core business of Get It Global. Most of our orders can be manufactured in 30 days, including a pre-production sample, and then delivered within another 30 days. If the order is very complicated and customized, it could take longer - but not nearly as long as it would take a domestic supplier. Ordering an existing item can really cut down on production time. But even taking an existing product and modifying it to make it your own does not have to entail a 4-month wait.

When talking about manufacturers, what does "ISO-certified" mean?

ISO certification is known and accepted worldwide as a standard of quality. It enables companies everywhere to compare their systems against this universally recognized quality standard and change accordingly. How do I get my order once it arrives from China?

We've actually delivered projects from China to the US in under 7 days! How do I know the status of my order?

What type of inspection services do you offer?

Get It Global is able to inspect projects directly, through our Hangzhou and Shenzhen offices, and also indirectly, through the use of independent inspection services such as ACTS and STR. If it is specifically requested or required, we can also arrange for a third-party inspection/audit of factory labor conditions and human rights standards, with the full inspection report provided to you or your clients.

How long does it take to get pricing?

Not long at all. In fact, Get It Global can turn around a quote for existing products within 24-48 hours from the time of request. The more details you can provide about your project, the more accurate we can be with our quoting process. A custom quote will take 4-5 days, which allows our art department to draw all the specifications, ultimately ensuring all our quotes are accurate and firm from the start. What is your sample policy?

We are happy to provide samples free of charge. All we need in return is your account number for your preferred shipping carrier. All orders with Get It Global require a pre-production sample to ensure that the job is done right. We provide this pre-production sample for a deposit of $150. A FULL REFUND of this deposit is available upon placement of a project purchase order.
