Below is a list of commonly used trade terms for your reference:
1) FOB - Free On Board

Get It Global is responsible for the client's goods until they are loaded onto a plane or boat at the port of shipment. Then it becomes the client's responsibility.

2) LDP - Landed Duty Paid

Get It Global is responsible for the client's goods until they clear US Customs at the specified Port of Entry (POE) and become available for transfer to the client's chosen shipping company.

3) CIF - Cost, Insurance, and Freight

Get It Global is responsible for the client's goods until they arrive at the port of destination. Then it becomes the client's responsibility.

4) LC - Letter of Credit

An LC is a document issued by the client's bank agreeing to pay Get It Global on a certain date if we meet all project requirements. Using an LC helps assure timely delivery of goods and indemnifies the client against payment of goods not received. Wire transfers do not provide the same level of protection.
